an ongoing investigation of affective body-related labors.
installation; 3 channel Video, 2 channel audio, Music by Andreas Eklöf
Complex, intimate studies in motion, gestures and actions. Mostly silently, a private bodily dictionary is accumulated. The key component – body language – is after all physical communication.
The installation attempts to communicate interactions between bodies. Between observation and openness, but also voyeurism. Non-verbal interactions, daily practice; positions that change place, implication and intention, are expressed. The metaphorical shadow play mimics the gestures of healing, and the work is makeing visible an intimate policy of health, in which the viewers themselves become part of the silhouette’s choreography.
